This is my video essay about Robert Eggers's three films (The VVitch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman) It represents the emotional and characteristic arc of the three main protagonists and their journey throughout the films. The concepts of Despair, Terror, and Death are so well integrated and executed in his films that they are almost inseparable from the plot.
